ABOUT THE COLLEGE

K.P.B.T.C. Training College Is a co-educational institution, situated in sacred city of Allahabad on the confluence of river Ganga, Jamuna and invisible Saraswati, which open’s from August 2017 and is being managed by the Kayastha Pathshala Trust which is supposed to be biggest educational trust of the country. Kayastha Pathshala also manages & runs other educational institutions namely

K.P.B.T.C. Training College is a co-educational institution, managed by the Kayastha Pathshala Trust. The college prepares students for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) awarded SCERT.

The college is a constituent college of the District Institute for Education and Training (DIET) Allahabad and prepares secondary school teachers imparting theoretical as well as practical knowledge of skills of teaching and preparing effective teachers for developing the society through its products.

ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT

The Management of the College is fully committed for the development of quality higher education according to the norms of the University. For this purpose, the Management always takes initiative to provide modern and state of art educational technology, development/ and improvement of the infrastructure of the College according to the changing needs. The Management emphasizes that all academic and administrative activities of the College should be governed by the principles of participation and transparency. It ensures that the finances of the College are judiciously allocated and optimally utilized, the procedures and follow up actions are systematized. There is adequate representation of Faculty members as well as non-teaching staff in the Governing Body of the College

The College carries out its administrative and academic activities in a decentralized and democratic manner. The Staff Council, comprising of Heads of all the departments, Proctor, Coordinator Students’ Welfare and Librarian, is the highest policy making body of the College. All the departments have a Staff Committee, headed by the Head of the respective Department. All these committees function in a transparent manner.

PARTICULARS OF ORGANISATION

Principal is chief executive functionary of the college and exercises general supervision and control over the affairs of the college and be responsible for organization of teaching and other curricular activities and control over the staff of the college.

The Principal has many other duties and responsibilities as stated in ordinance and regulation. The decision making process is adopted as per the ordinance and follow norms for its functioning , set by National Council of Teacher Education and University ordinance (Norms and Standards for bachelor of education programme – NCTE) .

  • Institutional – all the correspondence regarding Teaching, Non-teaching Staff and students. Administrative, Finance and academic documents.
  • Students related – Admission, Examination, Attendance, Scholarship, B.Ed. activities.
  • Staff related – All the documents related to teaching and nonteaching staff attendance, time table etc

What we do

Use of modern teaching aids is encouraged in the College. These include power point presentations, use of L.C.D. and overheads projectors, diagrammatic representations etc. Students are encouraged to use magazines, journals and newspapers for acquisition of life skills.

Apart from their formal study, the College supports students for appearing and qualifying in various competitive examinations by organizing special lectures on current and social issues. Interdisciplinary lectures are also organized for this purpose. Workshops on Personality Development and Spoken English are also organized. Debates and essay competitions are a continuous part of extracurricular activities.

The College has an academic environment. The College has developed a strong base of physical and academic infrastructure, spread over in multiple campuses, to meet growing demand of young boys and girls pursuing the Training of Teachers.

Development of Computer skills and computer literacy is a part of curriculum for students. The College organizes workshops, seminars, lectures, debates, etc. for developing life skills, career training and personality development of students from time to time.
